History

Located in Dallas, Texas, The Day School was founded in 1952 as a Week Day School of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church. The Day School was founded on the belief that the early childhood years are the most crucial to the establishment of sound educational practices and biblical values. Today, Highland Park Presbyterian Church and School remain in a productive and symbiotic relationship. In recent years, The Day School has chosen to focus solely on early childhood.

The Day School is fully accredited by the Texas Alliance of Accredited Private Schools (TAAPS), an organization recognized by the Texas Education Agency as a valid accrediting authority.
